Here is how to use the forums

this is a basic explanation of how this works.
So, say you want to post something, maybe ask a question or something like that-
Hit the "New Topic" button, give it a brief title in the subject box, then in the main window you can write your message. Then hit submit. Its that simple.
Here are some things to note-
Guests are generally not aloud to post anything nor vote on anything.
New Members have some limited ability to post in certain areas only.
Registered members can create topics, and create polls for you to vote on.
Moderators and admin have 100% full control over any and all content. This means that if you broke a rule in your post that it can be deleted. It also means we can clean up older topics as needed.
You will notice some links in the different forum sections. These are links to files which are provided to do different things. I have the entire Colorado USGS map collection, a sample permissions form to ask a property owner to access land for rock collecting, the new membership packet is available.
You simply go to the link, download whatever you want and have it on your machine to do with as you will.
admin@longmontrocks.org is the one to talk with if you'd like to see something added or modified in some way, you do not have the ability to upload files on your own.
I think that just about covers it for now.
See you in the field!
