Intro to JohnRock

I'm curious about the startup club but might be able to provide input. I've collected fossils and minerals for almost 70 years and am a retired petroleum geologist with experience in exploration/development/acquisitions/divestitures/competitive lease sales/geophysical interpretation around the US and overseas. I have held officer positions in two gem and mineral clubs here in Colorado and present am a member of three clubs. I've been an officer in various positions from President (7 terms), Vice President, Secretary and Field Trip Chairman. I helped administer a dozen club claims over the years. Am familiar with insurance needs of clubs as well as IRS filings. Just moved to Longmont about a year ago and joined Flatirons Mineral Club.
